Francie turned one on Saturday and we celebrated out in the country with a barbeque and the most delicious cake! It was a really great weekend although it got off to a bit of a rough start on Friday night when Francie ran and tripped, landing her head on the corner of a piece of furniture in the kitchen. She ended up with a few scratches and a huge goose egg but thankfully other than that she was totally fine. Certainly gave Mom and Dad a good scare though!
She enjoyed her very first piece of cake and loved it, clearly. Next weekend will be another cake and party in another country! My little world traveler, she already has 3 countries under her belt in her first year. Can't wait to see where the future takes us!
Happy Birthday, Doll Baby!
