A year ago today we awoke in our suite at the MGM Grand hotel, giddy with anticipation, a jumble of nerves. We got dressed up in fancy clothes that we waited months to wear and caught a cab downtown. Inside a little chapel, just the two of us, a witness, and a pastor, we exchanged rings and we said yes.
